Plastic surgery

This guide gathers the plastic surgeons and centers listed on Google Maps in the two Dominican cities with the most providers: Santiago de los Caballeros and Santo Domingo. Each city has its own list, with local text, frequently asked questions and the contact details each professional publishes on their listing.

Plastic surgery has a reconstructive branch and a cosmetic one. Among the cosmetic procedures people ask about most are body contouring with liposculpture, breast augmentation, abdominoplasty and rhinoplasty. Every case needs a personal medical evaluation: this directory does not recommend procedures or doctors.

Verify the specialist before choosing. The Dominican Society of Plastic Surgery (SODOCIPRE) offers a search tool at sodocipre.net to check by first or last name whether a surgeon belongs to the society. Admission requires a medical degree, a license to practice (exequátur), training in general and plastic surgery, and membership in the Dominican Medical College.
